Founder and Vice-President from 1996 to 2002 

Director for the South Europe Area from 1996 to 2002

Both charges were left in March 2002 when the FIAP Directory Board called him to cover the role of “FIAP General Secretary “.

Foreign  Department Director from September 1998 to August  2012

Founder and Director of the Nature Committee, from 1990 to 2001 

 

Photographic skills

He approached photography in 1974 working both in B/W and Color.

Travel and Nature photographer, he is presently coordinator and trainer of photography courses and workshops (advanced and beginner course of nature and travel) and collaborator of “Panda Photo” Photographic Agency – Rome.

 

Exhibitions and awards

For the Italian Federation he has organized from 1994 until now, about 150 International Expositions with Foreign Federations, Clubs and authors.

 

He has actively participated in shows and competitions realizing from 1980 to today 406 personal and collective exhibitions and slide and digital projections in 33 different countries (Macao, Malta, Great Britain, Croazia, Nederland, San Marino, Hong Kong, China, Luxembourg, Mauritius, Serbia, Cyprus, Belgium, Greece, Bosnia, Romania, India, Taiwan, Portugal, Singapore, Ukraine, Turkey, Oman, Japan, Bulgaria, Slovenia, France, Emirates, Iran, Andorra, Australia, Kazakhstan and Italy.

 

He has gathered more than 1000 admissions in international competitions and over 300 awards. 

 

Five times FIAP World Champion in Nature: Finland 1999 (CLP), South Africa 2001 (CLP), Australia 2003 (CLP), Croatia 2006 (CLP and Slides).

Once FIAP World Champion in Projected Images (Belgium 2011) and three times FIAP Gold Medal in Projected Images World Cups (Finland 2000, Belgium 2002 and Indonesia 2009).

In 2007 he won the Second FIAP World Cup for Clubs, with his Club “Il Gruppo Fotografico Il Cupolone” of Florence 

 

In 2011 he won with the FIAF team the 60th Anniversary FIAP Cup “Children of the World” in Singapore.  

 

Judge in more than 303 national and international competitions since 1982, 

in 32 different countries: Belgium, France, Malta, Ireland, Great Britain, Croatia, Nederland, San Marino, Hong Kong, China, Portugal, Serbia, Russia, Greece, Austria, Spain, Italy, Iran, Luxembourg, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Andorra, Czech Republic, Kuwait, Cuba, Ukraine, India,  Turkey, Bulgaria, Austria, Emirates, Oman and South Africa.
